Last year marked the Biller Family Foundation’s 22 nd anniversary—and its most ambitious chapter yet. In 2023 alone, the Foundation invested $4.86 million in grants, partnering with 120 organizations across 27 states, including 43 first-time grantees.
Grounded in its three focus areas—Economic Opportunity, Supportive Cancer Care, and Social Impact Theatre—the Foundation deepened impact on several fronts. Highlights include an expanded collaboration with City of Hope to make early, whole-person cancer care the national standard; nine new partnerships advancing health equity; a surge in Career & Technical Education opportunities for high-school students; continued backing of eight theatres led by and serving communities of color in the West; and nearly two decades of support for CareerWork$, which has grown participant numbers by 40 % since 2020.
