Planning for the coming recovery by building careers
The Philadelphia Business Journal | October 2020
For long-term equitable economic recovery, we need more entry-level job training—even before jobs are ready to be filled. CareerWork$ and our BankWork$ partner, Philadelphia Opportunities Industrialization Center, Inc. share thoughts on how to move the nation ahead.
Our Focus Areas
CareerWork$
We connect young adults from low-income communities to employers in banking and healthcare to create access to lasting careers that help people, employers, and communities succeed.
Public Education
We support and partner with strong leaders and innovative programs that prepare students to graduate career ready, within the public and career technical education system.
Social Impact Theatre
We support contemporary theatrical productions in Western states that explore relevant and challenging social issues, can spark dialogue around differing views, and begin the process of healing.
Supportive Care
We address the psychological, social, and spiritual needs of patients and their loved ones in tandem with each patient’s clinical treatment. Our deepest partnership is with City of Hope, based in Duarte, CA.
