This May, we concluded our first cycle of theatre grants for 2016 by awarding five theatre organizations in both Los Angeles County and Washington state. The winners particularly impressed us with their strong audience outreach plans, and we are looking forward to partnering with them on the following productions:

• “Bars and Measures,” The Theatre @ Boston Court
• “Hooded or Being Black for Dummies,” Theatre Battery
• “Man of La Mancha,” A Noise Within
• “Seedfolks,” Seattle Children’s Theatre
• “Wedding Band,” Intiman Theatre
