The Sheri and Les Biller Family Foundation’s Social Impact Theatre Grant Program Now Accepting Applications 

The Sheri and Les Biller Family Foundation announces the launch of its annual Social Impact Theatre Grant Program.  

The Biller Family Foundation is excited to launch their annual Social Impact Theatre grant program, providing production-specific support to theatres that are igniting positive changes in their communities through the programming they bring to life on stage. “It is such an honor to provide this opportunity which celebrates the power of live theatre to help audiences process, explore, and deepen our understanding of the world around us,” explains Sheri Biller, Foundation President. “We always learn so much from the applicants through this process and know that this year will be no different.” 

The program supports theatres with 501(c)(3) status, at least two years of operating history, and annual revenue of at least $1,000,000. Grant funds can cover artistic, production, audience engagement, and community outreach expenses for one production that must stage a minimum of 15 performances.   

This announcement coincides with the release of the initial application, which is due on Friday, June 2, 2023. Applications and additional grant program details can be accessed here.
